Underpowered, nearly unusable, without any fine tools. The tools there are do not accomplish the job they were designed for. One star is probably too high.

I previously used the Chi Iron, and it stopped working so I needed something new. I chose this iron because I have very thin, loose curly hair and I wanted something I can set the temperature on because I felt that the Chi was destroying my hair with its single heat setting. I've had this babyliss for about one month now, and so far it has done a decent job. My only concern is that when I first started using it I burned my forehead a lot, because unlike the Chi it doesnt have protection on the sides incase you touch your skin with it and I get close when I straighten the front portion of my hair. And, it also feels a little bulky. But that's also probably because I am used to the the thin Chi Iron. I like the iron, because it gets the job done, and it heats up very fast. But, I don't think I would buy it a second time.

I have the thickest, waviest, fullest head of hair imaginable. It's long, past my shoulders being the shortest. I had a corioliss which I loved. It worked on my hair and it only took 60 minutes to get it stick straight with my chi shine spray. I cried when my corioliss broke. My hair dressers have used Chi and the Babyliss on my hair successfully so I knew my replacement would be among those two brands. Having read the reviews, I decided to try the babyliss which is way cheaper than my corioliss was. Omgosh, I was just stunned. It was quick and easy. But I had to try at least one more time and make sure. Nope, it was amazing. Took me 35 minutes rather than the 60 minutes. My hair was shiny and rich in color. I was literally running thru my hair and it came out just as amazing. I will say this machine gets hot as blazes and I do need to use the highest heat setting. My hair is thick enough to stick into your fingertips. I have a callous on my thumb from using it. I am not adept enough to use the comb very much like hair dressers do. The construction of this is heavy duty. Metal everywhere. It's a beautiful piece. Substantial. Well worth it. I think for my daughter I'll need the wider plates since her hair is super long and super spirally curly.

This flat iron was recommended by my stylist. It shipped quick and works great. Heats up quick!

This is the second one that I have owned. It makes my hair so smooth and silky. I live where the humidity is out of control and this keeps my naturally curly/out of control hair smooth without too much product. Love this!!!

I love this flat iron!! It is the same flat iron my beautician uses and I knew I had to have it. I have tried so many flat irons and known of them have given me the results that I get with this flat iron!I have naturally curly hair and even after air drying my hair, this iron leaves my hair silky smooth, straight and shiny in just one stroke!! Will never use anything else!!

This is my second Nano Babyliss. My first did not last very long and I spent twice as much on it from my salon. I'm hoping I get at least a year out of this one. I have very short hair and need just a bit of bend. This works perfectly. It is identical to the one that burned out. It arrived quickly!

I didn't think these existed until finally a student at the salon school i frequent borrowed one from a classmate. I had to go home and buy it. I love short hair but have issues with regular flat irons burning my fingers and ears. This is a great tool to have in your own styling cabinet. Heats up really fast and great for traveling too!

I have tried out Babyliss products in the past and love them. This travel iron is a little to small for regular use on my medium length hair - but its a Saint for bangs!

It shipped really fast and is really compact, which is perfect for what I wanted.

I bought this iron because it received good reviews on Amazon from others... Unfortunately it was a complete waste of $20. I have medium length hair which is semi-thick and straight. I only bought the iron to make my hair super straight and shiny. It took me over 40 minutes to straighten my hair because the iron is so small. It also repeatedly snagged on my hair and caused hair to be ripped out of my head! I will definitely go back to my Hot Tools straightener.

THERE IS A DOUBLE A COMPARTMENT THAT OPENS, HOWEVER THIS DOES NOT OPERATE THE DRYER- THE "C" BATTERIES APPARENTLY NEED TO BE PUT INTO THE TOP COMPARTMENT WHERE YOU USE A COIN IN THE SLOT TO OPEN AND INSERT BATTERIES - GREAT- HOWEVER WE DON'T HAVE A SLOT- IT WAS SEALED OVER- AND THE TOP COMAPRTMENT WON'T COME OFF FOR US TO PUT IN THE BATTERIES - SO HERE WE SIT- AFTER SEARCHING LONG AND HARD TO GET ONE OF THESE- AND NOW SHE CAN'T EVEN ENJOY IT! This is an awesome little nail kit with dryer to compliment my daughters play salon!! Her and her friends love playing beauty salon. This will just be another addition to keep them playing for hours! I wish they had this stuff when I was a kid!

You can buy this at Walmart for 14.99 (In store,not on line). No way is it worth $48.00. If your girl likes to paint nails, it's worth 14.99.

This set is fabulous for your little girl who wants to be just like you! Its got an adorable straightener to pretend with...brushes...and a hairdryer. Now...I had to throw some of the smaller pieces away because I have a 6m old but I kept the bigger pieces and the bag. Everything seems pretty durable and gets played with often...especially when I'm getting ready. However...the hairdryer dropped off the sink area to the floor and no longer works...well...it turns on/off but makes this awful sound. So...although its not working with batteries...my daughter still can make it work with her imagination. Its the perfect set for those girls that want to get ready with their Momma in the morning!
