I am sure this is a good product for girls or Nancy boys. I am 6'4" 310lbs and wear work boots 12 hours a day working in a steel mill. This product wont touch my calluses. Not knocking it, just making sure real men with real calluses don't waste there money here. Someone needs to build a more aggressive tool. The transaction itself was smooth as it almost always is with Amazon.

Ped Egg for men was the very best way to reduce calus size. Telebrands updated it reducing the depth of the abrasion ... too the point that it now useless .... I am out looking at the alternative products now.

This is NOT the original Ped Egg for Men. It's just the same Ped Egg which you can purchase at a local drug store, except this is black. The original Ped Egg for Men was black (ok that's the same as the product I received), larger, and the "blade" or planer was much sharper. I purchased online because I can't seem to locate anymore Ped Eggs for Men in any local drug storesPedEgg Platinum Edition Pedicure Foot File or Bed Bath and Beyond. Apparently, they've been discontinued. Very Disappointing!!!!!

I was skeptical at first, but these things actually work great! Helped remove the callouses off my feet and made them smooth a as a baby. Would definitely recommend to anyone who might be thinking about getting them.

PedEggs are fantastic. They work really well at smoothing tough, calloused skin on your heels. I have tried both the regular PedEgg and PedEgg for Men - both work well, but I prefer the larger size of the Men version. The 45% increase really makes short work of my heels. IMPORTANT NOTE: The PedEgg for Men advertized by Telebrand is NOT the 45% larger one. It is the regular sized PedEgg, just colored black (so called PedEgg "Professional". DO NOT order this product if you are expecting to buy the larger PedEgg. I ordered 5 of the PedEgg for Men, expecting the larger sized ones, and received black PedEgg Professionals instead. When I contacted the company with my complaint, they were quick to respond and offered a full refund. However, it doesn't change the fact that they still not offer the product they advertize.

This product is terrible. Save your money and buy the little foam nail files / polishers. The instructions were followed exactly and rendered pitiful results.

Having owned a Nail Shaper for years I discovered I was missing parts,so I ordered a new one and found it to be as good as when I first purchased one

My title says it all. It's a pretty good product, and it's a great product for the amount of money it costs.

These clippers are very good for the price that I paid. I have used them and they perform very well. Considering the price of similar clippers that cost 3 to 5 times more, I am very satisfied with their performance. Will probably buy a second set to keep in my travel bag.

It is OK if your toe nails are not very thick. Mine is, and the clipper is not sharp anough to cut through. Be aware!

clipper is great! Much easier to cut my toe nails than a regular toenail clipper.....easy to reach corners of nail too! Love the gold handles!! Could be a better quality, but for the price, it's fine.

and it's portable! My husband & I use it on hands and feet when hard areas or calluses have formed. The slow speed is perfect for the hands. The best aspect is that it runs on batteries, so we are not limited as to where to use it.

I had a 127 pound dog who could really tear up the flooring if you did not trim his claws. The SPCA puppy class instructor told us to use our Dremel to trim our do's claws rather than clippers. She was right. A Dremel is an ideal method for trimming a pet's claws.

Like many of us, I am a stay at home mom who wants nice looking hands but does not have the time or the money to spend in a nail salon every 2 weeeks. I have tried the drug store glue on type nails and do it yourself acrylics but never had the professional results I used to get at the salon before I had my children....and budget! This Dremel manicuring tool is the perfect solution. Combined with the drug store products, this gives you great looking nails. I was able to easily and quickly "dremel" them down to the perfect shape and thickness! There is no need to order any spare parts or accessories for this. Everything you need is included with the tool. You just add 4 AA batteries. There are two speeds Low and High. The High speed is sufficient to grind down the thick sides of the nail tips that may be just a bit to big for your individual nail. The low speed is sufficient for "sanding" down the thickenss on the top of the nail. I used the "sanding" drum shaped attachment for this. There is also a pin shpaed accessory which I found to be great for shaping underneath the top of the tip so that the artificial nail doesn't have that "artificial nail" thickness. It also removes that tiny number that is embossed in the nail tip. Feeling somewhat of a beginner at this, I purchased the pre-shaped nail tips that were short and very close to the size that I wanted. This tool really made shaping and filing these nails look perfect. Don't worry that the "battery power" will not be enough for this tool to do the job. There is more than enough power! I found myself using the low setting more than the high! Affordably priced, you can buy what you need at the drug store plus this and have great looking nails for less than the cost of a full set and a fill from a salon. Anyone who has tried the do it yourself acrylics will attest to the fact that unless you have the trained hand and light touch of a professional, the acrylic comes on really thick. This Dremel tool WILL help you shape and sand the thickness down easily and quickly! It is very easy to handle and the accessories are very very easy to change. I was very skeptical about purchasing this but after my first try, I was convinced that my purchase was a wise investment. One I will use over and over again. Don't be afraid of this product! I am a total beginner at manicuring my own nails. Because the resin is so thin and watery, my nails end up lumpy and it can take me literally hours to file them all down until they are ready for polish. The dremel cuts manicuring time down substantially, so much so that I now look forward to doing my nails. The kit contains everything you need to complete silk or fiberglass nails. It is so simple and easy. If I can do it, anyone can do it. I now want to try the pet dremel on my dog and cats. Thanks, dremel! H.B. B.C., NV.

I have been using my cordless rechargeable Dremel for nail jobs for about 15 years and it has always worked perfectly. I use attachments specifically made for nails and not the kind shown on the picture here. They look kind of unhygenic and non-professional. I am surprised that it took such a long time for Dremel to come up with the idea. Please note that I am neither a brain surgeon nor a nuclear scientist. It's plain common sense.

This set is just an awful toy set. Do not waste your money on this thing. Go out and buy some fun polish and cute accessories and just let the girls use that instead. First off the only color that comes in the set is BLUE. So you only can make shades of blue polish and no they are NOT scented. There is gold glitter so you can have light blue or dark blue with glitter or make one just plain gold glitter. Now about the blue dye that comes in this kit. BE CAREFUL it will stain anything it touches and it comes with far too much of the stuff for what is needed. You only need a drop or two to color your polish and you get almost an ounce of it so rest will go down the drain that is unless it is not already all over your hands and everything else it touched. The jars you make the polish in are cute however the brush does not go all the way down to the bottom so you end up having to tip to get the last of the polish and it can be hard for little girls to do without spilling. The gold glitter is a mess to try to get into the little jar with the funnel because it is so think. The blue dye is just simply a mess and hard to get out of things that it touches. This item really is a waste of money even though i only paid $5 for it i still regret it. Ran out after we cleaned up the mess from this kit and just bought them some fun polish and did their nails with it. Don't bother with this kit.

I like the idea of having diffrent types of grooming devices and this kit provides anything you would ever need. The clippers are good quality and have a nice design that also helps to grip.

These things are great! Not only do they look different than nail clippers you can get at any store, they are sharp enough to cut through my thick, crusty toe nails! Included are a multitude of tools to help keep your body looking super sexy for all those foot and hand fetish folks out there. Highly recommend.

If you really want a good manicure/pedicure set, spend more money on a better quality product. This is actually quite flimsy and doesn't really do a very good job. Also I would have appreciated better instructions on how to use the various attachments.

I am very happy with the Nail Care Plus Set. I use rechargeable batteries. I am very happy with the power and the battery life. I have looked for this machine for months in stores & finally found it on line at Amazon. Other reviews concerned me about battery only lasting 5 minutes. My batteries last all week with several uses. Very Happy

I love this tool! It is the perfect pedicure tool. It is powerful enough to trim nails and smooth rough skin but not so powerful that it is easy to hurt yourself. I have always had trouble keep my toenail cuticles looking perfect but not any more. I was able to get rid of all the excess dried skin around the nails quickly and without any pain or accidental cuts. I love how it smooths the nail edges. If you like to give yourself professional looking pedicures this is a must have.

I got this to work on toenails that are difficult to cut, but this thing didn't work that much better than normal clippers, and it took forever to do it. Perhaps using it on someone else would work fine, but it's not for me.

I got this for my husband who has toenails from H--L. Now he can do his own tonails and I don't get cuts in my sleep. LOL Every man needs one. He has had it almost a year and it's still going strong....

Got it around June, and August alrady broken. Simply not working suddenly. Light for on is off and not working. Cheap stuff but not good at all. Don't buy it.

I bought one of these back in December. It was fine until February when it stated leaking out the bottom. The other day I took it apart and half of the wax in the warmer part was in the bottom! The reason for the leaks is a poor quality clue or caulk of some kind that plugs up the holes where the heating element wires go. This stuff crumples and let the wax leak out. They need to recall this and send us replacements.

I had one of these for a couple years. When I bought it from Amazon, the negative reviews were mostly about the on/off light going out after a couple months - this didn't concern me. I kept it on a timer so it would be melted by evening but not on 24/7, so when the light died it was no big deal. However, just recently it started leaking paraffin out the bottom. I emptied it to see where it could possibly leak, and found a plug in the bottom of the tub with an open seam around it. The paraffin came out the bottom through a vent hole and several screw holes that hold the base on. I sealed the plug with Goop, and hoped for the best. After a couple days it didn't leak, but no longer got hot enough to melt all my paraffin. I came here to shop for a new one, and lo and behold all kinds of people have been having the same leaking problem, but more than the dime size blob mine was leaking. I'm not going to wait until I come home to a paraffin flood. So I ordered a much higher priced spa with much better ratings. For the relief it gives me for my arthritis, it will be worth every penny to pay for a more professional model that has a solid heating unit and no reports of leaking.

I love this paraffin bath. It has made a huge difference in reducing the number of cracks I have on my fingertips and knuckles this winter. The only downside is that it takes 15 minutes or so to do the job, and during that time I can't use my hands for anything else. I would use this every single day if I had 15 minutes to sit! :)

Sorry HoMedics, you've failed. This is the first review I've written. Like another user I bought this unit (HoMedics PAR-300) as a gift for my wife and the first time we used it THE WAX LEAKED OUT THE BOTTOM ALL OVER! I have tried on three different occasions to contact HoMedics Customer Service to no avail. You've lost a customer and I will share my story with others.

This product had been placed in the closet due to the fact that the first use was a sad experience. After locating it, now the truth of the first experience returns. The motor does not work properly at all. Its spins for few a seconds then stops. If the spinning were to continue, it would not be enough torque to file anything. As I look at other comments on this product, I'm sure Conair should be embarrassed on the quality of this product. It is no surprise that this product is no longer list in Conair's product list. The company should have placed a recall of the Elegant Nail kit.

I bought this thinking it would be nice to be able to give myself pedicures at home. It was meant to help me unwind, since doing something like this should also be kind of fun. I preface using it by soaking my feel in a relaxing heated foot bath, so my nails are softened up a bit before I use it. In spite of this, the unit simply does not have enough power even for basic maintenance. It takes a hours to recharge fully, so plan ahead before using it! And even with a full charge, it runs out of energy before you can use it on both feet. I've found that if I attempt to file and then buff my toenails it only lasts long enough for one foot, and then I have to recharge it again for hours before I can do the other one. Essentially, it takes a full day (or two separate days) to give myself a pedicure with this. While making it rechargeable (and not having to worry about a cord getting in the way) makes sense in theory, I would much rather deal with the minor annoyance of a cord instead of the major annoyance of a product that isn't up to the job! I shudder to think how ineffective it would be if I attempted to use it without using the foot spa first!Next time I'll try to find one that either plugs in or tells you in the item description how long it takes to recharge and how long it should hold the charge for! The only advantage to buying this one is that it was cheap, so at least I didn't waste too much money on it.

I have used this one time and put it away. The bits are so smooth, they don't work to sand or buff nails at all. The motor is ok but not very powerful. It just wasn't worth the money. Also, it took 11 days to ship and another several to arrive.

This is a fun kit for any little girl who likes manicures. But it contains mostly ingredients that you are likely to have at home, so it's not a particular good value. This is true with all Elmer's/Scientific Explorer kits, though. The activity guide does a good job of describing nail care and it teaches a tiny bit of science - which is better than nothing. The best part of the kit is the "crystal mud", a polymer crystal which becomes a gel as you add water. The kids loved both seeing it change and soaking their hands on it.
