This product is terrible. Save your money and buy the little foam nail files / polishers. The instructions were followed exactly and rendered pitiful results.

It might just be me, but whenever I use this I get bubbles all over my nails. I don't shake the bottle or anything either. It could be the topcoat I've been using (Seche Vite), but I'm not sure. I'm obviously going to keep using the Mink Muffs, though, because I love the color!

Everybody knows Essie is one of the top brands for nails products. I am very pleased with the quality of this products, especially that the seller sent me fresh stuff, not some old, god forsaken, products.

get double the use of any polish this top coat turns any glossy nail color flat!! highly recomend it

This polish is lovely. A soft dove gray color. Unusual without being spooky or Goth-ish. I thought I was looking quite the sophisticate.

Acetone is one of the most underrated bands. I wonder what would have been if there wasn't a suicide. I have all of their Cd's, and I have never been disappointed.

One of the best mornings I can remember was waking up in a sleeping bag on a seat in an old schoolbus in the middle of the Oregon high desert with the sun shining in through the windows and this album still playing in my headphones from the night before.

This EP is the very first release by the band and it does sound stuck in the mid 90's grunge era slighty. The 4 songs are all quite different in style, tempo, and feel, which makes it a nice little collection.I'M GONE is the most straight ahead grunge alt rock track. The band stretches it out nicely though, through slight tempo changes and some cool lyrics like "Just like an adventure through jungle and scrub, I fell out of the tree but I'm not in love."D.F.B. is a more high octane punk track which includes some rather humourous and cynical lyrics about people losing hope in life.FOR A FEW DOLLARS MORE takes the title and atmosphere of the Clint Eastwood western score by Morricone and is itself a mellow smooth instrumental.The epic title track CINDY, my personal favorite, starts out with heavy reverbed, fuzzed out feed back wail and then slows down to softly brushed drums and jazz surf like guitar chords. This cycle reapeats itself throughout the song slowly building and rising up and down. The lyrics and vocals harmonies are very dream like, and beautiful.

This album grooves along slowly with a whisper but it wont put you to sleep. Every Kiss, Might as Well, and Chew rock out but at a quiet rumble. Richie Lee and Mark Lightcap's vocal harmonies are remind me of the Beach Boys or Crosby Stills Nash, but on acid. Quiet scrapes of the fingers on the strings and a slight country twang bring a relaxing vibe to the music.The lyrics are great and relate to lost love and loneliness but far from making you feel depressed leaves your soul soothed and warm. Perfect music for getting high, going to sleep, waking up in the morning, having sex, driving at dusk, or crowded subways. you wont ever hear about this band and they will probably never tour again but if you have a normal attention span and enjoy good music you should buy this album

I stumbled across Acetone's self-titled album in a stack of promos a friend had from her days in college radio. I immediately fell in love with the album's dreamy, languid melodies, set to simple and wistful guitar (remiscent of Pink Floyd's less epic moments), overlaid with gentle, blue and sometimes quite lonely lyrics. The lead singer's voice (and his harmonic backups) remind me of Chet Baker's for its soft, untrained, elegant sweetness. Acetone brought me back to an appreciation of pop rock.

I'm assembling teams of folks to go around introducing Midnight At The Black Nail Polish Factory to my fellow villagers. They've seemed down in the dumps lately. I don't know if it's gas prices, or the fact that they aren't finding their domestic situations what they'd once hoped they would be, but I do know that if we bring this album to their attention, they'll forget their worries & be filled with the sort of joie de vivre that usually only comes from bagging an 8-pointer, or maybe landing a monster tarpon. The whole slab flays the blues, but that Eiffel Tower track is so #@ing uplifting that you better not listen to it before a funeral or people are liable to call you an insensitive bastard. Trust me. Send yr info & I'll give you instructions on where & when to meet. Please also say if you have a boom box--we'll want those of you who do distributed among the canvassing teams. I have spare batteries if yours are low. And, if I run out, I have a 150' extension cord & you can maybe just do my immediate neighbors.

The Deathray Davies are one album away with this release. It's a darker sounding disc than there next one (just check the title), but still full of the hooks they do so well. However, it's not as catchy or instantly rewarding as 2005's The Kick and the Snare. Still, you can't go wrong with DRD.

The fourth album by the Deathray Davies is kind of a combination of all of their previous albums and it really sounds great. The band wasted no time in getting out new material after their last effort "Day of the Ray" and "Midnight at the black nail polish factory" will not disappoint. It has all the good things about the band from their garage rock sound to the more experimental side like on their sophmore album "Return of the Drunk Ventriloquist". Imagine if the best of all their albums were combined, but yet still had a new distinct sound. That would describe this album, with great songs and tight musicianship. This album gets better with each listen and no track needs to be talked about. The album needs to be listened to as a whole and enjoyed for what it is a "masterpiece".

I learnt a lot watching this DVD but only gave it 4 stars because I thought they could have shown more of how you do like a french manicure by yourself among other things. It's a good buy despite that.

I got the hair edition and loved it so much I decided to check this one out. It is easy to follow and my hands looks great! A must have for anyone who cares about having wonderful looking hands and feet.

I purchased the Nail video after I purchased the hair video (which I use all the time). With the nail video I used my parrafin bath (which I had bought years ago and never used) to give myself a pedicure and manicure. My hands and feet have not looked this good since I visited the salon once a week many years ago!!! I was so impressed by how clear and easy this video was to understand and follow. I also gave my husband a man's manicure as shown in the DVD and he loved it!!! I would recommend this DVD to anyone that wants to do beauty treatments at home and save a few bucks!

I had heard so much about this color, and how it is a must-have. So I was very excited when I received it, but it quickly changed when I put the polish on my nail. Application was pretty bad for me: very thick polish, almost gluey. It was streaky and really hard to get a good coverage because it wouldn't flow on the nail. I had to use 2 coats, and after the second coat the polish was so dark you could barely see the purple. You would have thought it was just a black polish. After the second coat the texture was fine, but I am still disappointed. I will try again and update my review if I change my mind, but I don't think i will.

I've lived in Chicago all my life and I'm familiar with "Lincoln Park", the neighborhood that the polish is named after of. I applied the polish just this morning and absolutely adore it. Because I'm a massage therapist, I'm constantly cutting & filing my fingernails therefore, I never have a polished manicure. That being said I totally obsess over OPI colors in the summer time. Thanks to this rich and gorgeous color my pedicure is perfection!

OPI makes the best nailpolishes out there. They are true to the color in the bottle and last the longest. Lincoln Park after Dark is an alluring deep purple that's classy yet not run-of-the-mill.

OPI is one of the best and longest lasting nail lacquers on the market. I love the vividness of the colors they offer especially this one. They are long lasting, on my toes they last about 2 weeks without chipping and a week and a half on my hands. Thats without a top or base coat by the way. The picture shown is very accurate for Linoln Park after Dark, it is a beautiful color.

This is my number one new favorite color. It is gorgeous!!! It is everything I expect out of a purple and I wore this color, with a top coat of Mad as a Hatter, for 4 weeks without a single chip on my toenails. I got a lot of compliments. I recommend this color to everyone!!! The seller was awesome as well. I can't say enough good things about this polish. A definite "must have" to every girls collection!!!

such a cute, sexy, fun, summery color! expect tons of compliments. the application can get streaky, but it is fine with 3 coats. buy an extra bottle!

I really love this nail lacquer. My only issue is it takes 3 coats to really get opaque color. Lasts well, easy to paint smooth, beautiful for winter or spring.

Mint Candy Apple is such a great color! You can't help but feel cheerful when you have it one your nails! I can see why people might complain about Essie polishes chipping / not drying as fast as drugstore brands, but you have to keep in mind that they don't put in some of the nasty chemicals (like formaldehyde) that some of the cheaper polishes do. It helps a lot if you use a base coat (I like Loreal--- it's cheaper, but also "nasty chemical"-free), and a top-coat if you want extra long life! Also--- I'm definitely buying my polishes from Amazon.com from now on; it's definitely cheaper than paying the $8 + tax you have to pay for essie in stores.

I love the color, but it chips like crazy! I will apply it one night, and by the next one I'm reapplying it to go over the chips. As much as I love the color, it's not worth it. I wish other companies were making this color so I could get it from them.

After mint greens became so popular this winter, I had to have Essie Mint Candy Apple. It's not really a dupe of Chanel Jade though, it has more blue and is a creme, but it's beautiful on! Also Essie's formula is great, so no chipping for at least 4 days on me. Overall if you like minty colors, this one is fantastic!

this item was extremely misleading but it still works. i just put 2 layers on top of a regular nail polish and it still worked.

Buyer beware...I bought 4 of the 5 colors thinking the product would look like the picture, however when the polish arrived it was not colored but a clear coat with glitter in it. The bottles looked like they were colored but once you applied the polish it was actually just clear. Why would they even need to make different colors? When I called to complain and tell them I wanted to return the bottles, they told me I could send the bottles back at my expense and they would probably give me a refund for the items only (not the shipping) but they couldn't guarantee I would be reimbursed because the bottles were opened. Terrible customer service!

Although the polish colors are very bright, they do not light up in the dark. I assume you would need to put them under a black light for them to glow. I bought them for my daughters sleepover so they could see them in the dark but it didnt' work.

When You're made to pay $11 for nail polish, it should be what is advertised! Not only was the nail polish just a sparkly sheer, when it glowed it wasn't even pink AT ALL! It was a spotty yellowish-green color. The only thing pink about it was the color on the bottle. BUYER BEWARE!

Ok maybe there a quite a few flaws in this toy! But I for one didn't like that stop me! I loved when I first got this toy in my mail box I was soooooooo exicted to get it out and play...to my dissapointment after putting on five coats of my newly made nail polish it flaked off :(. My mom knew how much I was looking forward to this so she took a look at the toy, we concluded that the stuff you mix in to make the polish doesn't work. Heres what to do if your not having any fun: (this makes nail polish that stays on) 1) Get plain white/pearly white colored nail polish color (from a drug store) 2) Instead of pouring the little packet in pour you nail white nail polish color 3) Add the color from the coloring chamber and glitter if you want too 4) Put in mixing chamber for about two minutes 5) Look at the new amazing color you made smile to yourself!! Ok the nail dryer may not work that well put it is a TOY. If you didn't know the dial to make the mixing chamber work also makes the nail dryer work. Im happy my mom figured this out for me and if you have a child that HATES this toy, try doing this for them I've made so many amazing colors so far.

This toy was the biggest waste of money ever. My 9 year old daughter was so excited to receive this toy, and had fun for an hour mixing various nail polishes according to the directions. The polish looked bright and pretty in the bottles. But then she became extremely disappointed because when she painted her nails the polish went on clear and didn't show up. The sparkly glitter mixed into the polish would not show up on her nails either. Even after adding triple and quadruple more drops than the instructions said, the polish & glitter would barely show up on her nails. This toy was played with one time and then there was nothing else to do with it and I eventually threw it in the trash along with all the nail polish that was useless. It was a huge waste of $30.

we bought this for our 13 yr. old daughter since she loves painting her nails - but were disappointed in that is really is more like a "toy" than for "real" use. the nail polish is more like a glaze color, not very dark and it peels/washes off fairly easy. i figured when she was done making polishes it would still work set up on her table to dry her nails with but the fan is quite loud and not very powerful - i would have done better just buying her polishes and a real nail dryer. this would be a great TOY, fun mixing and making your own polishes especially with friends for maybe 8 and under, for sure 6 and under would love it of course a lot of pieces and it IS nail polish so supervision definitely needed ... i got it on sale for like $20 or something - i really would not pay more than that for it if i were to buy it again for a young child. My daughter does babysit, so it is a fun thing for her to do with the little girls.

This item is no good. Waste of your money. The colors did not come out the way they say it would. The nail polish doesn't really show the color, it is watered down.

I bought this for my nine year old daughter for Christmas and she absolutely loved it. She played with it for two hours straight....There are a couple of complaints I have about the product though..One, it is messy..I figured that it would be, but it stained my towels that I told her to use under her set. Secondly, she ran out of certain colors of the nail polish and I have no idea where to buy refills. So now she has the nail studio that she loves and no nail polish to use. Other than that, it is very age appropriate and well suited for the girly type.
